Al Ittihad believe they are very close to snaring Real Madrid’s Ballon d’Or holder

Real Madrid for another season before the club looked to find a long-term successor for the Frenchman in the summer of 2024. That has been thrown into doubt recently though, as it looks like the 35-year-old could make a Santiago Bernabeu exit at the end of this very campaign.

The rumours have of course come out of the blue. But it looks like Benzema has an offer on the table to make a move to the Saudi Pro League. Former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, joined Al-Nassr not too long ago, raising the profile of the competition immediately.

As reported by Foot mercato the offer sent by Al-Ittihad ended up convincing Benzema to leave Real Madrid this summer. The Frenchman has told the Spanish club in recent hours of his choice to accept the offer.

If Benzema does indeed leave the club then they will have to replace him with a world-class striker. They have been linked with the likes of Harry Kane, Dusan Vlahovic, Victor Osimhen and a few others in recent weeks. On the other hand, it is believed that Joselu will join Real Madrid on a loan.
