Real Madrid is on the verge of securing the signing of Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, with the club prepared to meet the Bavarian team’s valuation of 50 million euros for the Canadian full-back.

Negotiations are progressing positively, and the final details are being ironed out to bring Davies to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Initially, Real Madrid had offered a fixed amount of 35 million euros, but they are willing to increase the figure and include variables to match Bayern Munich’s asking price.

Sources close to the negotiations have indicated that finances will not pose a hindrance, and an agreement is expected soon.

Pacojó, reporting on ‘SER Deportivos via (cadenaser),’ mentioned that while there is no formal agreement yet, the terms are very close, and there is a strong belief across Europe that Alphonso Davies will be part of Real Madrid in the upcoming season.

In recent days, another European club inquired about Davies, but Bayern Munich’s response affirmed that everything is progressing smoothly with Real Madrid, and an agreement is the only thing pending.

Additionally, it was revealed that Alphonso Davies has a four-season contract awaiting him at Real Madrid.

His arrival would create competition among left-backs, with Ferland Mendy, Fran García, and Miguel Gutiérrez vying for a spot in the starting eleven.

Real Madrid, with the intention to bolster their defense, is looking forward to finalizing the deal and securing the services of the highly-rated Canadian talent.

The left-back position at Real Madrid is expected to see changes in the upcoming season, with decisions on squad composition and potential departures yet to be finalized.
