The upcoming Clásico clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona on October 28th could witness a significant twist, much to the chagrin of Los Blancos’ fans.

Rqobert Lewandowski, Barcelona’s talismanic striker, is on the brink of a potential return. In an interview with the Polish program WP Sportowe Fakty, the prolific forward hinted at his readiness to face Real Madrid.

Recently, Lewandowski’s abrupt departure from a Champions League fixture against Porto due to an injury had cast doubts over his availability for the crucial Clásico encounter. Many had anticipated his absence, but the player himself is now fueling optimism.

Xavi, Barcelona’s coach, recognized Lewandowski’s pivotal role in Barcelona’s attacking dynamics. His return could tip the balance in Barcelona’s favor for the forthcoming Clásico.

Lewandowski revealed details of his recuperation process, explaining, “I took a break from Wednesday to Friday. Since Friday, I’ve been diligently working on the recovery of my leg. The ankle may require another 7 to 10 days to heal.”

However, he stressed the need for caution regarding his comeback, stating, “We will gain further clarity next week, but the current outlook is more promising than initially envisaged. I cannot pinpoint an exact return date. It hinges on how well my leg responds. If I am not in optimal condition, I won’t rush back.”

With the Clásico drawing near, the potential return of Robert Lewandowski poses an intriguing storyline for the encounter, leaving Real Madrid’s defense to brace for the challenge.
