Brahim Diaz; anniversary and Super Cup challenge

At Real Madrid, Brahim Diaz is having the time of his life. He will play in his first Super Cup with the white club starting tomorrow. Also, he is likely to many crucial minutes in addition to a starting spot.

The Malaga native is now the only member of the club to have scored and provided an assist in the Champions League, League, and Cup after his goal and assist against Arandina. The forward is demonstrating such decisiveness that in seven of the nine games he has started, he has contributed to at least one goal.

Two players have scored in all three competitions but do not an assist. They are the the Brazilian Rodrygo and Spanish Joselu.

As Marca has already informed us, Brahim expresses his joy at achieving his objectives with a unique hand motion that suggests ‘you have to be calm’. The lesson in the message. The message is that, if you believe in it and put in the effort, even seemingly difficult things can be made simple.

It looks like Brahim Diaz is poised for the Spanish Super Cup tie. A match in which he has never played. He will certainly have a point to prove; to show Carlo the reason why he should be starting his matches. Brahim Diaz has already stated that the objective of Real Madrid is to win the Copa del Rey. He is definitely riled up to help bag the first trophy for Los Blancos this season.

Will it be a memorable anniversary?

The boy’s anniversary is also today, January 9. It has been five years since he made his Real Madrid Copa del Rey debut against Leganés in 2019. He definitely has that at the back of his mind.  A unique anniversary that this January might have with the Spanish Super as its climax.
