Carlo Ancelotti’s recent acknowledgment of Brahim’s impact reflects a shift in perceptions.

“I’ve read that I have something against him, but I’m not a judge who sentences. I have something special for Brahim because he played at Milan,” stated Ancelotti before the SC Braga match.

The next day, Brahim started and had a stellar performance, scoring a goal. “I may have been unfair to him,” Ancelotti admitted after the game.

Contrary to those who thought Ancelotti had something against Brahim, the ex-Milan player has progressively secured a spot in the starting eleven, with three out of four appearances (he missed the Cádiz match due to intestinal discomfort).

Recently, he started against Napoli in the Champions League, showcasing his quality in a ‘new position for him.’

Against Napoli, Brahim played upfront alongside Rodrygo, an unfamiliar position for him. From this position, he orchestrated Real Madrid’s equalizer, displaying skills reminiscent of Zidane.

Brahim took the ball in midfield, skillfully bypassed the first opponent with a Zidane-like roulette, advanced to the edge of the box, and set up Rodrygo with a pass that said, “Do your thing.”

While Jude and Rodry stole the spotlight in that match, Brahim’s contribution was significant.

Apart from the assist, he demonstrated his flair for unsettling defenses during his 65-minute appearance before being subbed off due to cramps.

What sets Brahim apart is his silent dedication and sacrifice. Working diligently behind the scenes, he has gradually earned more playing time. In his first two starts, he scored a goal each.

Brahim is currently experiencing his peak form at Real Madrid, breaking into the first team, and Ancelotti has duly recognized it. It’s highly likely he will start against Granada, marking his fourth start in the last five games.
