Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has reportedly set its sights on Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti as a potential candidate for the national team’s head coach position.

Despite the Italian’s current contract with the Spanish giants, the CBF is said to be keen on securing his services for the upcoming World Cup in 2026.

Ancelotti, who has won numerous domestic and European titles with clubs such as AC Milan, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich, is widely regarded as one of the best managers in world football.

However, the CBF will face significant challenges in their pursuit of Ancelotti.

The Italian is currently under contract with Real Madrid until 2025, and the Spanish club is unlikely to let him go without a fight. Additionally, Ancelotti has previously stated that he is happy at Real Madrid and has no plans to leave the club anytime soon.

Despite these obstacles, the CBF remains optimistic about their chances of securing Ancelotti’s services.

The Brazilian authorities are reportedly willing to offer the Italian a lucrative contract and are confident that they can convince him to take on the challenge of leading the national team.
