Breaking: Mbappe says he will continue at PSG next season

After almost 24 hours of reports that Mbappe might leave PSG this summer, the player has taken to his Twitter handle to deny rumours that he wants to join Real Madrid now. In a reply to the tweet by Le Parisien, Mbappe said: “Lies. At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy.”

Le Parisien earlier reported that Kylian Mbappe wants to play for Real Madrid next season. The player sent a formal letter to PSG confirming he will not renew until 2025. The player himself has confirmed this to AFP, stating: “The board has been informed since July 15th, 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024, and the letter sent was only meant to confirm what I already told them. I have never discussed a renewal with PSG.”
