Amidst the Mbappe controversy that persists, one of the most reliable journalists in football transfers, Fabrizio Romano, has finally spoken about it, something that numerous Real Madrid supporters have been eagerly anticipating.

Responding to rumours that Mbappé will not be included in the main team training from next week, Romano said: “What I’m told is that a decision on how to manage Mbappé in terms of training routine will be made early next week, maybe Monday.

He went further to report about PSG’s persistent interest in renewing the player’s contract: “In recent days, PSG have tried to renew Mbappé’s contract with a specific clause for a sale in summer 2024. The player said ‘no’ again. PSG did this secretly.

“Kylian Mbappé is not signing a new contract at PSG. This is the message he has sent to the club,” Romano added.

The search for the top offer for Kylian Mbappé continues for PSG, as they keep an eye on Real Madrid’s movements for any possibility of a transfer this year or next.

French source Le Parisien also say PSG are keen on selling Kylian Mbappé as soon as possible, with the condition that they receive €200M from Real Madrid, who seems to be delaying a resolution until August 15th.

PSG thinks that Real Madrid is the one who wants to wait until the said date to secure a deal.

According to PSG, Mbappé has a desire to sign up with Real Madrid next year without any transfer fee and receive a substantial bonus from the club.
