Real Madrid fans are eagerly waiting for the return of their star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. After being diagnosed with anterior cruciate ligament , the shot-stopper has been out of action for almost a month now.

However, there’s good news on the horizon. According to reliable transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, it is expected that Courtois will be back in goal for Real Madrid around April.

He shared his update on Courtois’ latest injury and expected return date via YouTube, which sent madridistas into frenzy.

The Spanish side goalkeeper woes started when Courtois picked up an injury during training before the start of the season .

Initially, it was hoped that it was just a minor injury, and he wouldn’t be out of action for long. However, further scans showed that he had suffered a anterior cruciate ligament and would require an extended period of time off in order to recover fully.

14-time European champions backup goalkeeper, Lunin, has been deputized in Courtois’ absence. Until the club signed Kepa on a season loan deal from Chelsea.
