Injuries have hit Real Madrid hard, with several key players sidelined until 2024. Aurelien Tchouaméni, Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, Arda Güler, Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Jr., and Kepa Arrizabalaga are currently unavailable for Carlo Ancelotti.

The spotlight, however, is on the iconic ‘7’ of Real Madrid, the vital offensive force for the Italian coach, alongside the talented Jude Bellingham.

Vinicius Jr. sustained a hamstring rupture with tendon involvement in his left leg during the last international break, expecting around 2 and a half months of absence, though this timeline could potentially be shortened.

Fabrizio Romano shared encouraging words on Vinicius Jr.’s recovery, providing relief for the Madrid faithful.

“Regarding Vini Jr., many said he would be out for 2 and a half months, but I was told it’s 2 months. From what I’ve heard, Vini will try to do something special,” stated the Italian journalist, sparking discussions across social media.

“He wants to be available by late January/early February. Vini Jr. has the mission to return as soon as possible.”

While this would be positive news for Real Madrid, the reality is that the ‘7’ would miss the Spanish Supercup and the initial stages of the Copa del Rey.

There is confidence at Valdebebas that Vinicius Jr. will aim to expedite his recovery, yet Carlo Ancelotti remains cautious, emphasizing the importance of not rushing the Brazilian back to ensure his participation in the latter stages of the season.
