After a three-year tenure at Rayo Vallecano, Fran Garcia has joined Real Madrid.

Fran Garcia, born on August 14, 1999 in Bolaos de Calatrava, Ciudad Real, has joined Real Madrid.

Since joining the club in 2013 to play in the under 15s, he has participated in a variety of young teams before joining the academy side.

He played 72 games in the Primera División and developed into one of the league’s top defenders, the left-back returns to the team where he spent seven seasons.

He spent seven years in the youth system before moving to Rayo in 2020, where he assisted the team in being promoted to the Primera División.

He played 40 games and scored 2 goals last season as a dependable left side player for Vallecano and was crowned Rayo’s player of the season, his 2nd in 3 years.

It is of no doubt that he would be a good addition to the Real Madrid squad as he has been monitored enough by Club officials before securing his signature.

Garcia is highly expected to compete with Ferland Mendy for the left back spot to create a healthy competition at the left side of the defense for  Los Blancos.
