Joselu’s future in white: Arguments for a permanent stay

Joselu’s surprise loan move to Real Madrid has been a  roller-coaster ride. From being a bargain signing to filling the void left by Benzema, his future at the Bernabéu remains uncertain. But here are some reasons why Joselu staying would be more productive for Real Madrid.

Impressive Performance: Despite initial doubts, Joselu has delivered. His goals and assists have contributed significantly to Real’s successes this season, especially in the absence of an out/out Striker

Affordable Option: Compared to other potential targets, Joselu’s price tag is significantly lower, making him a financially attractive option. Joselu has 12goals and 4assist  so far this campaign. Players with that kind of output do not come as cheap as Joselu came from Espanyol Last summer.

Adaptability: He has seamlessly integrated into the dressing room and playing style, Joselu grew up in Real Madrid and his whole family is rooted in the Los Blancos system he is a comfortable fit.

Fan Favorite: His work ethic and commitment have endeared him to the Madridistas, being the more natural forward that will give his best when he is on the pitch and when he is relegated to the bench he will support and keep high spirits for the team.

At 33, concerns about his long-term sustainability and potential decline might exist. But that is where this come in;

Backup Role: The arrival of Endrick and A Marquee striker will see Joselu relegated deeper in the backup role, adding more limitations to his playing time. But having a double figure striker on the bench and as a part of the squad especially now that teams would play more games next season with the new format of the Champions League, does NOT seem like a bad idea.
