Latest updates in the Kylian Mbappé final, the final hours

After Paris Saint-Germain excluded its star player from their pre-season tour in Japan, there was a very high chance of the issue escalating in the coming hours. And so it has turned out. PSG, as reported by several sources have now put the 2018 World Cup winner Kylian Mbappé on sale.

The French club never changed their stance on the player, either you renew this summer or get sold. The latest twists in the saga lead to a common point, these are the final days of the Mbappé file.

Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia have submitted a formal bid to Paris Saint-Germain in order to open talks for Kylian Mbappé as reported by Fabrizio Romano. It’s worth €300m which is a record fee. There are currently no talks with Mbappé but sources say PSG have agreed to the deal.

Al Hilal now have to reach an agreement with the player. PSG remain convinced that Mbappé already agreed terms with Real Madrid with contract ready. Ben Jacobs reports that the €300m bid for a one-year deal from Saudi will allow Mbappé to join Real Madrid in 2024. But Al-Hilal will provide an option to extend in case Mbappé changes his mind. 

L’equipe also report that Barca have entered the race to sign him and a phone call is scheduled this Monday.

According to Fabrizio, The feeling is that Kylian Mbappé wants to join Real Madrid. He wants to keep playing in Europe and not Saudi. PSG are waiting for more bids from other European clubs.

As per PSG community, Mbappé will sign for Real Madrid. The strategy he will use is: “Money has never dictated my choices. This summer I had much higher salary offers than Madrid this summer. But my main ambition has always been to evolve at the biggest clubs and make history.”

From Spain, Jose Felix Diaz and Siri Lopez report that Real Madrid will not sign the player this summer.
