Player ratings: Real Madrid vs Las Palmas

Real Madrid hosted bottom half side UD Las Palmas at the Bernabéu on Wednesday night.

After losing the Madrid derby just seventy-two hours earlier, it was certain Los Blancos had to grab a convincing win at their own backyard.

Carlo Ancelotti went into the game with five changes from the squad that lost the derby.

Key players like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior who were all available for the game, were rested.

The game started with Real Madrid controlling most of the attacking threats, but Las Palmas goalkeeper Valles had an answer for everything that was thrown at him.

It was not until the final minute of added on time in the first half that Brahim Diaz found the back of the net.

Real Madrid got the second in the second half courtesy a header from striker Joselu.

The game ended in a 2-0 home win.
