Kylian Mbappe has recently granted an interview to France Football which according to RMC, has triggered anger from PSG. The player is currently in Cameroon, the country of his father’s birth. In the interview, Mbappe again expressed displeasure over the state of the club.

When asked if there are  reasons to believe this is his last season in Ligue 1, the 2018 World Cup winner said: “It’s very simple. I’m a competitor, when I play, it’s to win. It doesn’t matter who I play with, what shirt I wear or where I play, I never settle. I just want to win, win the Champions League. I’ll never be satisfied.”

Mbappé: “I don’t know what PSG needs to do to win the Champions League. It’s not a question for me. We did what we could. Ask the people that built the team, who built this club.”

Mbappé: “I think that playing at PSG does not help much because it is a divided team, a divided club. So, of course it attracts gossip but it doesn’t bother me because I know what I’m doing.”

Mbappé: “I don’t want to be in a team just there to participate. That’s why sometimes people think I’m arrogant. Because I just hate participating. It’s not in my nature.”

The PSG forward has been given a deadline of July 31 to make a decision whether to renew or leave the club according to sources. If he doesn’t make a decision to renew by then, he will be on the market. According to Sky Sports, on August 1 he will be given a price tag of 150 million euros.

Several sources have confirmed that if PSG do not put a price tag on him, Real Madrid will not make a move to avoid what happened last two years when they submitted a bid of 200 million euros and got no reply.

One thing is certain in this sage, the next few weeks will surely be an interesting one.
