The Kylian Mbappe saga continues as expected. Since 2017, Real Madrid have been lurking around the 2018 World Cup champion but have never got their luck. Finally, it seems they are a year away from destiny, or, maybe, weeks. Kylian Mbappe’s formal letter to PSG on Monday informing the club that he will not be exercising the option to renew until 2025 has sparked lots of rumors and the latest of them points to a move away from France, but not to Real Madrid.

Spanish newspaper El Pais broke the news that from Qatar, the intention is to sell Kylian Mbappé to Manchester United this summer if Sheikh Jassim’s bid is successful. They have been planning the deal since February and Mbappe finds the idea interesting.

Football writer Romain Molina also adds that Qatar have indeed anticipated Mbappe’s departure for months and have spoken to him about moving to United but the player does not want the English club.

Mbappe himself stated in October 2021 that: “If I had left this summer it would only have been to join Real Madrid. Leaving was a logical step in my career.” Spanish outlet Relevo, through Matte Moretto further reports that Mbappe is putting pressure on PSG to put a value on him for sale this summer, as he only wants PSG.
