Sergio Ramos’ return to the Santiago Bernabéu was a mix of emotions for everyone involved. Fans initially cheered him during the warm-up, but those cheers turned to jeers once the game started and he touched the ball.

Despite the mixed reception, Ramos displayed impressive defensive skills, shutting down his former teammates throughout the game. He even wore the captain’s armband for his current team, Sevilla, making it a special night for him.

He didn’t get a chance to score, but his friend Luka Modric stole the show with a fantastic goal reminiscent of his legendary performance at Old Trafford. This could be Modric’s final farewell to the Bernabéu, and what a way to go out!

The night wasn’t just about football. UFC champion Ilia Topuria kicked off the game and dreams of returning to the Bernabéu for a fight someday. The official referee suffered an injury and was replaced, leading the crowd to jokingly suggest a former referee, Negreira, take his place.

Adding to the excitement, fans were already spotted wearing scarves with the face of Mbappé, a French footballer rumored to be joining Real Madrid soon. Time truly flies at Real Madrid, where people experience things before they even happen!
