Real Madrid set to sign two Serie A stars – report
Real Madrid are set to sign two Serie A stars to strengthen their already impressive squad. The club is well aware that the success of any team depends on the signing of important players who can defend the white colors.
Los Blancos have already set their sights on two Italian Serie A stars, who have shown enough quality for the club to enter into negotiations to bring both of them to Madrid. Florentino Pérez, the Real Madrid president, has given the go-ahead for their arrival in the next summer market as reported by Defensa Central.
The players in question are Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who have both put in some impressive performances for SSC Napoli, winning the Serie A title after more than 30 years. The amount to be paid for both players is thought to be a staggering 150 million euros, with Real Madrid not willing to spend more than that figure, following the President’s instructions.
The amount is far from what the Italians are thought to be expecting, but Real Madrid is hopeful that their good relationship with the president of the Italian team will help facilitate the operation.
This season has not been as spectacular for Napoli as the last one, and both players have seen a drop in their performance. The white club sees this as an opportunity to capitalize on the situation and is willing to offer players to lighten the cost of the signings. The Italian giants managed to make history last season, but this campaign has them far from the fight for the title led by Juventus, and they can see how their best players end up leaving to look for a better team.
