Real Madrid’s winter transfer plans faced a significant shakeup with recent setbacks, including injuries to key players like Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius Jr.

Both players who were injured in their national teams during this break are vital to Carlo Ancelotti’s strategy, but won’t be available for the remainder of 2023.

This adds to the absence of other notable names like Aurélien Tchouaméni, Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, Arda Güler, Dani Ceballos, Jude Bellingham, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Despite challenges at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid is eyeing reinforcements, according to the reports from DefensaCentral.

Interestingly, the situation at Barcelona is equally challenging, particularly with the confirmed injury to Gavi, necessitating their need for reinforcements.

In a potential transfer domino effect, if Tottenham secures Raphinha for the requested €70 million, they might consider allowing Richarlison to leave in January.

Carlo Ancelotti, who previously worked with Richarlison at Everton, sees the Brazilian forward as an ideal addition to the squad.

The prospect of securing Richarlison on a six-month loan to address the absence of Vinicius Jr. in early 2024 aligns with Real Madrid’s strategy, especially with the impending Supercopa de España and Copa del Rey appearances.
