At the end of last season, Carlo Ancelotti met with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez to outline his preferred signings for the upcoming season. At the meeting, the coach informed the club about his intention to have English striker Harry Kane in the team.

Real Madrid promised to get the player but after a serious of unofficial negotiations, the club backed out. The price of the player who is now thirty years old was nothing less than 100 million euros, and Real Madrid has a policy to sign young players ahead of the veterans. Now, the attention has been on Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid want to sign the player at all cost but will prefer to go for him next year at a reduced cost.

Sky Sports now report that Carlo Ancelotti has phoned Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to inquire about his situation. Juventus however need to balance their finances and are willing to offload the striker but only for a huge fee.

Vlahovic scored 10 goals in 27 Serie A games last season and is currently one of the most sought after strikers on the market.
