The Real Madrid squad returned to training on Tuesday, with their focus divided between the upcoming Sunday clash against Cádiz and a growing injury list.

Just five days before their visit to Nuevo Mirandilla, the participation of Jude Bellingham and Dani Ceballos against the Andalusians remains uncertain.

Bellingham continues to grapple with discomfort in the shoulder injured during the match against Rayo Vallecano, while Ceballos is pushing through the final stages of a lengthy muscular injury.

Adding to the concerns, Kepa will be absent against Cádiz. Although he participated in part of the session on the field, it was done in isolation.

This opens the door for Andriy Lunin to once again showcase his skills in goal, supported by the return of Joselu following his national team duties.

Meanwhile, Dani Carvajal enjoyed a day of rest and is set to resume training at Valdebebas on Wednesday. It’s crucial to note that Real Madrid will be without up to six players for their upcoming league fixture.

Thibaut Courtois and Éder Militao are sidelined with long-term injuries, and the list extends to Tchouaméni, Camavinga, and Vinicius, who picked up injuries during the international break. Additionally, Arda Güler remains without a confirmed return date.

As the squad navigates these challenges, the spotlight remains on the adaptability and resilience of the team as they prepare for a crucial encounter in Cádiz.

The absence of key players poses a test for Real Madrid’s depth and ability to secure points in the league. The upcoming days will be crucial for assessing the fitness levels of Bellingham and Ceballos, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on their availability for the clash at Nuevo Mirandilla.
