Luka Modric has made a promising comeback in today’s training session with his teammates at Real Madrid, reports Marca.

The Croatian midfielder has successfully overcome discomfort in his left thigh, which had sidelined him from the last two matches.

Having trained solo yesterday, he seamlessly joined the group for today’s session, indicating positive progress in his recovery.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti might consider including Modric in the lineup for the upcoming clash against Betis scheduled for Saturday at 16:15.

Ancelotti recently welcomed Kepa back for the Granada match and is highly likely to have the Croatian international available at the Benito Villamarín stadium.

However, the squad will still grapple with absences, including Carvajal, who is set to remain sidelined until 2024, alongside other injured players.

Jude Bellingham, despite gym-based training, is anticipated to be match-ready for the weekend encounter.
