Real Madrid’s reputation as a footballing powerhouse is once again underscored by their strategic moves and remarkable squad development. After winning the Champions League and reaffirming their status as the best team on the continent, Los Blancos have not rested on their laurels.

Instead, the Spanish giants have bolstered their ranks with the high-profile additions of Kylian Mbappé and Endrick, propelling them past Manchester City in terms of team valuation.

According to Transfermarkt, Real Madrid has now surpassed Manchester City to become the most valuable team in the world. This surge in valuation is largely due to the arrival of superstars Mbappé and Endrick. Real Madrid’s current market value stands at an impressive 1.326 billion euros, edging out Manchester City’s 1.321 billion euros.

The rise in Real Madrid’s valuation is also fueled by the recent upward revisions of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouameni’s market values. With these revisions, Madrid now boasts seven players with a market value of at least 100 million euros. This elite group includes Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé (each valued at €180 million), Federico Valverde (€120 million), Rodrygo (€110 million), as well as Camavinga and Tchouameni (€100 million each).

In stark contrast, Manchester City has three players in this bracket: Erling Haaland (€180 million), Phil Foden (€150 million), and Rodrigo (€120 million), with Julián Álvarez just shy at €90 million.

The rivalry between Real Madrid and Manchester City has intensified in recent years, particularly in the Champions League, where they have clashed in three consecutive seasons. Real Madrid emerged victorious in two of these encounters, solidifying their dominance in European football.

Real Madrid’s current roster, brimming with young and highly valued talent, suggests that they are well-positioned to dominate European football for the foreseeable future. With a blend of established stars and rising phenoms, Los Blancos are not just building a team for today but constructing a dynasty for the next decade.
