Real Madrid star forward is absent from today’s group training

Real Madrid’s young star Rodrygo Goes has remained in the headlines for the past few minutes prior to the team’s encounter with Atletico Madrid tomorrow. The Brazilian winger was excluded from group training sessions and instead was seen working alone with the staff.

The Brazilian winger is considered ‘untouchable’ for the coaching staff; he has started almost every important game for the white club this season. Despite having a rough start to the season the manager continued to be believe in him and give him enough playing time which is now paying off.

According to journalist Mario Cortegana, the Brazilian did not train with the group today. The journalist from The Athletic Football reporting the news indicated that the reason for the player’s absence from group training was not known.

Despite the absence in group sessions, Jorge C. Picon reported that the youngster was still hard at work. The Relevo accompanying journalist stated that Rodrygo was training alone with a staff on the sideline.

However, moments later, Picon shared another update with his followers on the Brazilian’s progress. He revealed that after a few minutes of training alone, the player had entered the gym, where he continued with his preparations.

The reasons for the 23-year-old exclusion from the group training sessions have not been disclosed. Still, it has set tongues wagging among fans and pundits alike, with some speculating that it could be an injury setback or merely a tactical decision from head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
