A new twist in the Mbappé saga on Sunday morning. Paris Saint-Germain who seemed to have been strict on their stance regarding selling the player this summer, have rescinded their decision on leaving the player out of the main team affairs.

The French club, in an official statement on Sunday morning reported the player will return to first team training.

All indications from France are that the player is close to an agreement with the club to sign a new contract.

The new contract should include an exit clause that allows him to leave for free next summer at a fee, according to various sources.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided updates on the saga. According to the journalist, Kylian Mbappé will be available for PSG’s next game as he is now part of new coach Luis Enrique’s team.

Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi met with the PSG squad and told them: “Kylian is committed to PSG. Kylian is back”, according to the journalist.

In recent days, PSG have had contacts with Mbappé’s mother and they were positive and until this morning, PSG considered him for sale.

Negotiations to extend the player’s contract have been positive. At the moment, there is no agreement but discussions over the length of contract and exit clause are being discussed.

Amid all that is happening, Fabrizio ensures that Real Madrid are calm.

Kylian Mbappé’s entourage did not want to speak to PSG in July but now things have changed. There is a conversation ongoing.

Lastly, the transfer expert adds that the situation is now difficult for Real Madrid to sign Mbappé this summer.

The Spanish giants never sent a bid but recent happenings make it difficult to get him this summer.
