Eduardo Camavinga, the French midfielder representing Real Madrid, suffered a knee sprain in his right knee during a collision in Wednesday’s training with the national team.

The 21-year-old, a crucial player for both Real Madrid and the French national team, left the training session after the incident with Ousmane Dembelé.

Camavinga, who was anticipated to be in Didier Deschamps’ starting lineup for the Gibraltar match on Saturday, is set to undergo additional medical examinations in Madrid on Thursday.

While the full extent of the injury is yet to be confirmed, there is cautious optimism within Real Madrid that it may not be a severe setback.

However, if the diagnosis reveals a knee sprain, The French plaayer could potentially face a recovery period of over a month, according to COPE.

This injury compounds Real Madrid’s existing midfield challenges, given the sidelined status of Tchouameni, Ceballos, Bellingham, and Arda Güler.

Los Blancos is closely monitoring Camavinga’s condition and hoping for a swift recovery, acknowledging the ongoing midfield injury crisis.
