As national teams from around the world prepare to take the field in the coming week, Real Madrid fans have reason to keep a close eye on international matches.

The prestigious club will see a notable representation of its stars wearing their national team jerseys.

With a total of 11 Real Madrid players away on international duty, it’s an exciting period for both the players and the club’s supporters.

Here’s a breakdown of the Real Madrid players called up for international duty and the challenges and opportunities they face in their respective campaigns:

Three Real Madrid stalwarts – Dani Carvajal, Joselu, and Kepa Arrizabalaga – have earned their spots on the Spanish national team. Their presence reflects their quality on the field, even in a highly competitive environment.

Unfortunately, there’s no room on the roster for the likes of Nacho Fernandez and Fran Garcia, who will have to wait for their chance to represent La Roja.

Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is set to don the Ukrainian national team jersey for the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers.

Facing formidable opponents like England and Italy, Lunin will need to showcase his skills and composure under pressure.

Antonio Rudiger, a key defensive asset for Real Madrid, will join Germany for friendly matches against Japan and France.

These matches provide a valuable opportunity for Rudiger to maintain his form and build crucial chemistry with his international teammates.

David Alaba, who has seamlessly transitioned to Real Madrid, will lead Austria in friendly encounters against Moldova and Sweden.

Alaba’s leadership qualities and versatility will be crucial for Austria’s success in these matches.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, two young talents making their mark at Real Madrid, are integral parts of the French national team.

They will face the Republic of Ireland and Germany, offering them a chance to prove their worth on the international stage.

Jude Bellingham, who is in top form for Real Madrid, will be a vital cog in the England squad as they take on Ukraine and Scotland.

Luka Modric, the midfield maestro, will lead Croatia against Latvia and Armenia, showcasing his experience and skill.

Rodrygo will represent Brazil in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

His participation adds to the growing legacy of Brazilian talents at Real Madrid. Unfortunately, Vinicius Jr. has been withdrawn due to injury.

Federico Valverde will wear the Uruguayan colors as he competes against Chile and Ecuador in the World Cup qualifying matches.

His dynamic style of play will be an asset for his national team.

For those Real Madrid players not called up and who are fit, including Toni Kroos, Lucas Vazquez, Dani Ceballos, Ferland Mendy, Fran Garcia, Nacho, and Brahim Diaz, the focus will shift back to club duties.

They will return to training under the guidance of manager Carlo Ancelotti on Tuesday.

The team is expected to return to action on September 17 at the Bernabéu against Real Sociedad.

The next five fixtures will be against Union Berlin in the Champions League, Atleti at the Metropolitano, Las Palmas at the Bernabéu and Girona away followed by Napoli in Italy.

Real Madrid currently top the league standings after winning all four of their opening league games.
