Real Madrid continues to scout top talents across Europe, always on the lookout for market opportunities to strengthen their squad. The latest name to catch the eye of Real Madrid’s scouting network is PSG’s Vitinha, as reported by Defensa Central.

Vitinha, a highly talented midfielder, has garnered admiration from Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Pérez. According to the aforementioned source, Pérez sees the Portuguese player as a potential successor to the aging Luka Modric, who has been a mainstay in Madrid’s midfield for over a decade.

Pérez’s interest in Vitinha stems from his technical prowess, vision, and ability to dictate the tempo of the game, qualities reminiscent of Modric at his best.

However, despite Pérez’s admiration for Vitinha, the pursuit of the PSG star has hit a significant roadblock. The primary issue lies in the high demands set by PSG for the player’s transfer. Unlike many players, Vitinha does not have a release clause in his contract, meaning any potential transfer would require direct negotiation with PSG.

According to Defensa Central, PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has set a steep price tag for Vitinha, valuing him at a minimum of €100 million. This valuation is double Vitinha’s current market value of €50 million, making the transfer financially unviable for Real Madrid under current circumstances.

Florentino Pérez, known for his strategic financial management and prudent decision-making, has therefore closed the door on Vitinha’s signing, at least for the time being. The high demands from PSG have made it clear that a deal is not feasible without significant compromise, which PSG seems unwilling to make.

Despite this setback, Real Madrid will not lose track of Vitinha. The club intends to continue monitoring his progress and performance at PSG, keeping an eye on any potential changes in his availability or market conditions that might make a future transfer possible.

The 24-year-old’s situation at PSG is one to watch closely. While the current valuation and lack of a release clause pose substantial hurdles, the dynamic nature of football transfers means that opportunities can arise unexpectedly. Real Madrid’s interest, albeit shelved for now, indicates that Vitinha is a player they regard highly and one who could potentially don the famous white shirt in the future.

For now, Real Madrid remains patient and vigilant, ready to act should circumstances change. The pursuit of top talent like Vitinha underscores the club’s commitment to maintaining its status as one of Europe’s elite, always prepared to enhance its squad with the best players available.
