In a stunning development, organizers have unveiled additional matches for the highly anticipated Riyadh Season Cup, featuring football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo – The Last Dance.

Inter Miami CF has officially announced its participation in the tournament, making this event even more monumental as part of the club’s first-ever international tour.

The Riyadh Season Cup, initially promoted as ‘The Last Dance’ in reference to the potential final clash between Messi and Ronaldo, will now see Inter Miami face Al-Hilal on January 29.

Al-Hilal, guided by former Sporting CP player and manager Jorge Jesus, boasts an impressive history with 66 titles and currently dominates the league table. The absence of Neymar, recovering from a knee injury, adds an intriguing dimension to the matchup.

As the football world gears up for ‘The Last Dance,’ Inter Miami’s Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director, Chris Henderson, highlighted the significance of these matches for the team.

Henderson stated, “These matches will offer important tests for our team, which will benefit us as we approach the new season. We’re excited for our group to get the chance to go up against teams with as much quality as Al-Hilal and Al Nassr.”

The excitement doesn’t end with Al-Hilal, as Inter Miami is set to face Al Nassr on February 1, despite having been initially declined.

This clash intensifies the spectacle with a much-anticipated duel between Messi and Ronaldo, who is currently the leading goal scorer in the Saudi Pro League.

Coached by Luís Castro, Al Nassr features stars like Sadio Mané and Aymeric Laporte, making it a formidable opponent for the Inter Miami squad.

The Messi-Ronaldo rivalry, celebrated for 35 encounters in their illustrious careers, adds an extra layer of intrigue to the Riyadh Season Cup.

With Messi securing 16 wins to Ronaldo’s 10 and nine draws between them, football enthusiasts eagerly await another thrilling chapter in their storied history.

In these matchups, Messi has recorded 21 goals and 12 assists, while Ronaldo has notched 20 goals and one assist, setting the stage for a spectacle in Saudi Arabia that transcends borders and captivates football fans worldwide.

The Riyadh Season Cup is shaping up to be a historic event, blending the anticipation of ‘The Last Dance’ with the excitement of Inter Miami’s international debut.

Football aficionados are counting down the days to witness this iconic clash between two of the greatest footballers of our time on the global stage.
