“The sooner Mbapper joins, the better” – Rodrygo speaks

Real Madrid’s Rodrygo spoke about his excitement at the prospect of Kylian Mbappe potentially joining the club.

As rumors continue to swirl around the potential transfer, Rodrygo expressed his enthusiasm for the French forward’s arrival in the Spanish capital.

Despite currently being on international duty with the Brazilian national team, Rodrygo found himself caught in the whirlwind of speculation surrounding Mbappe.

When asked about his feelings regarding the potential signing, Rodrygo replied, “For me, it’s a 10. Mbappe is a phenomenon and one of the best players in the world. We recognize the need for a player like him in the position he prefers to play.”

However, the young Brazilian forward acknowledged that Mbappe is currently under contract with Paris Saint-Germain and emphasized the importance of respecting that agreement.

While he expressed his eagerness for Mbappe’s arrival, Rodrygo also recognized that the final decision lies with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and manager Carlo Ancelotti.

“The sooner Mbappe joins, the better it would be for us, but if circumstances don’t allow it, there are other players to consider,” added Rodrygo. “Ultimately, it will be up to Florentino Perez and Carlo Ancelotti to determine what’s best for Real Madrid.”

In an intriguing twist, there have been reports suggesting that Ancelotti, who currently manages Real Madrid, is being considered for the role of head coach for the Brazilian national team.

When asked about the possibility of working with Ancelotti in both Madrid and Brazil, Rodrygo lightheartedly remarked, “I wish I could have him in both teams if possible.”
