Germany vs. Denmark game paused due to intense lightning and thunder

On Saturday night, Germany faced Denmark in the second game of the 2024 European Championship knockout round. With just over half an hour played, referee Michael Oliver blew his whistle for the game to be paused due to a serious issue.
There were loud noises which were from intense weather conditions in Dortmund. Lightning was seen in images published on social media.

The official statement from UEFA’s broadcast stated: “The match has been suspended due to adverse weather conditions.”
