Real Madrid considering permanent acquisition of Kepa Arrizabalaga

The decision-makers at Santiago Bernabéu have not yet reached a conclusive decision regarding Kepa’s future. While no negotiations have commenced between Real Madrid and Chelsea, the intention to acquire Kepa remains on the table.

Real Madrid’s board is satisfied with Kepa’s performance thus far and considers him an ideal replacement for Thibaut Courtois if the latter were to leave the club, particularly if Lunin’s departure becomes a reality.

The final decision regarding Kepa’s acquisition will be made in the coming months, and at present, purchasing him seems to be the most favorable option for the club.

However, negotiations lie ahead since Real Madrid did not include an option to buy within the loan agreement. As a result, the club will have to engage in talks with Chelsea to negotiate the terms of his transfer.

Despite this, Santiago Bernabéu believes that acquiring Kepa will not involve excessive spending and has received the player’s approval.
