Saudí Arabia made an attempt to secure Karim Benzema and explored Luka Modric’s transfer without success.

Notably, Goalkeeper Martín Campaña disclosed in an interview with journalist Ismael Mahmoud on 365 Scores, via Diario AS, that Fede Valverde received a significant offer from the Middle East but turned it down, emphasizing his commitment to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid, considering Valverde crucial to their strategy, rejected external interest, a sentiment echoed by manager Ancelotti. Valverde’s pivotal role in the team is evident, having played over 1,312 minutes, second only to Rüdiger.

Arabia Saudí’s persistent interest in international stars was mentioned by Campaña, who clarified that players like Darwin Núñez might consider such a move in the future, but Valverde is not on that list.

On November 9, Real Madrid announced Valverde’s contract extension until 2029, fortified with a €1 billion anti-takeover clause.

This move aligns with the club’s forward-looking plan, securing core players for years to come, including recent additions like Tchouameni and Bellingham.

Despite financial allure, Real Madrid remains committed to preserving its core and building a sustainable future. Valverde’s refusal underscores the club’s dedication to long-term success.
