Real Madrid complete summer transfer window, reports
Real Madrid have reportedly completed their summer transfer business with the signing of Joselu from Espanyol, according to reports from Radio Cope.
The Spanish striker joins Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia, and Brahim Diaz as the club’s new signings for the season.
The club has also seen several departures this summer, with Karim Benzema leaving for Al-Ittihad, Marcos Asensio joining Paris Saint-Germain after leaving the club by mutual consent, and Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz also leaving by mutual consent.
Real Madrid are now waiting for Dani Ceballos to make a decision on whether to extend his contract, which is due to expire in June. Meanwhile, Nacho is expected to extend his contract with the club.
Despite reported interest from Chelsea, Federico Valverde is set to stay at Real Madrid, while the club is counting on Lucas Vazquez amid interest from Juventus.
It remains to be seen whether or not Real Madrid will sign another player this summer, with the likes of Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani and Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi reportedly in the running.
Additionally, Kylian Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is still unclear, meaning that any time Real Madrid get the chance to sign him they may try, with the French club ready to sell him now if he doesn’t extend his contract avoiding to losing him for free next summer.
