Emerging reports from L’equipe suggest that French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has left the national team’s recent training after suffering a knee injury during a physical contact with his teammate Ousmane Dembele. The incident happened during a session in Clairefontaine ahead of their Euro cup qualifiers.

The news will undoubtedly disappoint French manager Didier Deschamps and Real Madrid. Los Blancos has already lost Tchouameni to injury earlier this season, which leaves the team with only one CDM. The Spanish giant hopes the 21-year-old injury doesn’t turn out to be serious.

At present, there is no news on the severity of the player’s injury, and it remains to be seen whether he will start any of the remaining of their Euro cup qualifying fixtures.

However, there is no doubt that his potential absence will be a significant blow to the French team as Camavinga has been a pivotal player for Real Madrid this season.

According to CanalplusFoot, Camavinga told Deschamps “I’m ok” after leaving the pitch but the seriousness of his injury is yet to be determined.

He left training walking on both feet, which indicate the injury might not be serious:(carlitosonda)
