Real Madrid has confirmed that neither Jude Bellingham nor Brahim Díaz will undergo surgery for their shoulder injuries, which resulted from dislocations suffered over the past season. A club source, according to Diario AS, stated, “We don’t believe they are in their plans, according to what they agreed with the doctors.”

Jude Bellingham injured his shoulder last November during a match against Rayo Vallecano, following a fall after contact with Isi Palazón shortly after the start of the game. Since the injury, Bellingham has been playing with a shoulder pad to protect the area. Despite concerns about potential discomfort, the protective gear has not affected his performance.

Similarly, Brahim Díaz sustained a severe shoulder injury during Real Madrid’s defeat in the Metropolitano derby last September. After a hard fall, Brahim was diagnosed with a significant dislocation in his right shoulder by the club’s medical team. He spent several days with his shoulder noticeably immobilized but managed to complete the season without any further issues.

Initially, there was a plan for both players to undergo surgery at the end of the European Championship and the season to address their shoulder pain. However, sources within the club have denied these plans, reinforcing that surgery is not currently considered necessary. “None have been operated on and we do not believe that they are in their plans, according to what they agreed with the doctors,” reiterated a club source.

Both Bellingham and Brahim are expected to continue playing with protective measures to prevent further aggravation of their injuries. This approach will likely be maintained until it becomes absolutely necessary to reassess their conditions.

Real Madrid fans can remain assured that both players will be available for selection, albeit with necessary precautions to manage their ongoing discomfort.
