Real Madrid have provided an update on Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga’s situation. The goalkeeper was injured in the warm-ups prior to kick-off on Wednesday night.

Having been named on the starters list, substitute goalkeeper Andriy Lunin then had to spot on to replace the Spaniard. One Thursday afternoon however, the club reported that Kepa had undergone an ultrasound exam.

An injury to his right abductor was found, but nothing serious although it will keep him out of action. He is expected to miss about two to three weeks of action.

Spanish outlet Marca report that a MRI exam will be carried out on Friday.
