Real Madrid has devised a plan for the return of Thibaut Courtois and Éder Militao to the playing fields, aiming for their comeback after the international break.

Courtois, who suffered a serious injury on August 10, participated in a portion of the training with the group for the first time since beginning his recovery process.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the return plan involves both players rejoining group training after the upcoming national team break, which begins on March 16 for Real Madrid and concludes on March 31 with a match against Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabéu.

Carlo Ancelotti mentioned in a press conference that Courtois and Militao could be available for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals scheduled for April 9/10.

While it’s likely they may not participate in that match due to the need for more preparation and filming, the international break provides an opportunity for them to intensify their training and potentially contribute to the team in the later stages of the Champions League.

The manager will carefully plan their return to ensure they acquire sufficient minutes and are in optimal condition for the crucial phase of the season.

Ancelotti aims to incorporate them into the team, particularly recognizing the improvement they could bring, especially in Courtois’s case in the goalkeeping position.
